Dedication
Dedicated to contributors of Christian Friendship. This magazine was born December
1987, at the time when a group of Christians left the fold of Immingham Trinity Methodist
Church to go out to respective universities. The magazine came to an end in mid 1990.
I feel that the contributors will welcome the re-publishing of the articles on the web,
for the glory of God. Keep coming back, as I haven't got everything up yet :-)
Roots
Excerpts from December 1989 editorial by Jamie Hunter:
Looking back at the previous Christmas edition of Christian Friendship, it seems
strange that the magazine has changed so much within four issues. If I dare go back to the
very first issue, which is dated December 1987, I realise how much the magazine has
changed from being a little news-letter for a fellowship group to something that is read
by people in a number of towns, and that it is continuously growing.
We need to remember that the magazine started out as "A news letter for young
people to share and be a part of." That statement is true now, and so is the request
"We need your support in prayer and written articles." This magazine depends on
you!
Excerpt from December 1987 editorial by Gary Manders:
The publication was inspired by GOD and HE alone knows its destiny - PRAISE THE LORD.
